Greens Aerification

We will be deep tining the greens next week.We will start on Mon the 19th and be done on Tues.The process goes like this,we will topdress the greens first then deep tine about 7 or 8 inches deep 1/2 inch tines will be used,then we will brush in the sand and double roll afterwards.A very small hole should heel in about a week.

6 Months after Irene

Today Feb.27th marks the six month anniversary of hurricane Irene.I have posted some before and after photos of 18 fairway,15green and 9 fairway.The golf course has come a long way since the storm.

5 Green

We are working on the green,verticutting every week and walk mowing to get this green ready to open.The green was seeded in mid-september and is really getting in shape.We are looking at late march or early april to open it for play.

Tree removal 11green and tee.

Trees will be removed from in front of the green to get more air and to have full view of the green and on the left side of the tee to get full view of the fairway from all the tees.This will take place over the next several weeks.
